On September 5, 2025, EDHRC (Empowerment and Development Housing Resource Center) hosted our very first Money & Mocktails event — and it was a night to remember!
Guests gathered at our Warren, MI location for an evening filled with financial empowerment, community connection, and of course, refreshing mocktails and brunch bites.
Throughout the night, participants:
Gained practical tips from housing and credit experts
Learned about credit building and homeownership tools
Connected with neighbors and community members on similar financial journeys
Took home a vision board and budget planner to put their new knowledge into action
The atmosphere was both educational and uplifting, with laughter and conversation flowing as freely as the bubbly mimosas. Many attendees shared that they left not only with valuable resources, but also with a renewed sense of confidence in their financial goals.
