Empowerment and Development Housing Resource Center (EDHRC), founded in 2018, is a non-profit organization with a mission to engage in a wide range of economic development and education activities, and the provision of social services for the purpose of combatting blight and deterioration in the Detroit

EDHRC was founded by Faye Baker. Faye is a housing counselor. Faye Baker, a Detroit native born and raised in the local area, graduated from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a Master of Science in Administration degree from Central Michigan University.

Online Home Buyer Education Class

Pre-Purchase Counseling

EDHRC offers clients workshop classes in-person group sessions an online course through e-Home America. The online course is then followed up with counseling services -

Home Buyer Education

Pre-purchase counseling includes but not limited to the counseling and educating the potential tenant on tenant and landlord responsibility as well as fair housing awareness,

Rehabilitation

Our team facilitates the rehabilitation to needy persons so that they can enjoy all rights to the same extent as nationals.
