Faye Baker – Founder & Visionary Leader of EDHRC
Faye Baker is the founder and driving force behind the Empowerment and Development Housing Resource Center (EDHRC), a nonprofit organization based in the Detroit metropolitan area. Established in 2018, EDHRC is dedicated to revitalizing communities through impactful educational seminars and engagement solutions—that include house rehabilitation and educational and social services that strengthen neighborhood stability and improve quality of life.
A Detroit native, Faye earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration, followed by a Master of Science in Administration at Central Michigan University. With over two decades of experience in real estate and housing counseling, she combines deep industry knowledge with an unwavering passion for community empowerment.

Through EDHRC, Faye champions homeownership education as a pathway to generational wealth and economic security.
