Empowerment and Development Housing Resource Center (EDHRC), founded in 2018, is a non-profit organization with a mission to engage in a wide range of economic  development and education activities, and the provision of social services for the purpose of combatting blight and deterioration in the Detroit metropolitan area thereby contributing to the advancement of community life. EDHRC provides on a non—profit basis, low and moderate-income housing through rehabilitation, new construction, rental, and sale of such housing.
