The counselor does a thorough review of your credit report to help you understand how to fully review the report, and spot any errors that are being reported. Counselor also shows you how to dispute errors, manage credit card utilization, and how to create and maintain a monthly housing budget. The counselor will give a detailed action plan on how to increase credit scores. The counselor will follow up with the client within 30-60 days to check the progress of the action plan. There is a one-time fee of $69.95 for credit counseling that includes services for 12 months with no additional monitoring cost. Client can provide their own full credit report or pay an additional $20 to receive a soft pull FICO credit report.
